This 2025 custom-built expedition cruise ship is designed for polar operations and international voyages in the world's most remote regions. The steel hull spans 356 feet with a 58-foot beam, powered by two medium-speed diesel engines producing 5,708 hp combined, capable of 15 knots maximum and 12 knots cruising speed with a range of 12,000 nautical miles. The ship holds Lloyds Register Class notation with Polar Category B certification, enabling operation in Arctic waters without latitude limits and Antarctic waters to 78 degrees south.
Accommodations comprise 80 suites and cabins across eight categories, each with private bathrooms, showers, flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi access, and flexible berth configurations for twin, triple, and quadruple occupancy. The design provides four-star passenger comfort with nautical interiors and ample storage. Total capacity accommodates 194 passengers and 72 crew members.
The build emphasizes environmental responsibility through LED lighting, steam heating with waste heat recovery, biodegradable paints and lubricants, and advanced power management systems to minimize fuel consumption and emissions. An electric bow thruster and stern thruster aid maneuvering, while retractable fin stabilizers enhance comfort in open seas. The hull form prioritizes efficient propulsion and sea-keeping qualities.
The ship is approximately 90 percent complete, allowing opportunity for customization of final specifications and finishes. Navigation systems include integrated radar, ECDIS, sonar, and position monitoring, plus 21 CCTV cameras for internal surveillance. Expedition operations are supported by fifteen Zodiacs with 60hp engines and three additional deflated units for shore excursions. Safety equipment includes two 100–120 person lifeboats and immersion suits for all persons aboard.
