2025 J Boats J/9

The 2025 J/9 is a 28-foot fiberglass sailing yacht powered by a Yanmar diesel engine with saildrive configuration. Built by J Boats, it combines the company's proven design principles with modern systems for coastal and open-water sailing.

The deck features light grey non-skid surface and is outfitted with North Sails main and jib. Opening ports provide natural ventilation, while B&G Triton2 displays deliver speed and depth information at the helm. The saildrive setup integrates propulsion efficiently with the hull design, reducing complexity and weight compared to traditional shaft drives.

This is a new build, ready for the 2025 season.
