The Mako 18 Pro Skiff Backwater is a shallow-draft flats boat built for inshore and nearshore fishing. Its fiberglass hull uses Mako's second-generation Rapid Planing System design, allowing it to get on plane quickly even in minimal water depth and with a full load. The 18.5-foot beam of 7.83 feet strikes a balance between stability and maneuverability in tight quarters.
The boat is rigged for 360-degree fishing access, with an aerated livewell for bait management. It runs a single 175-horsepower Mercury Marine engine and comes equipped to accept modern fishing electronics of your choice. The layout provides unobstructed casting platforms and sightlines across the deck.
A custom-fitted aluminum trailer with disc brakes and LED lighting is included. The trailer frame uses Mako's I-beam aluminum construction and is engineered to handle repeated launch-and-haul cycles.
