2025 Mussel Ridge 42 Downeast

The Mussel Ridge 42 is a fiberglass downeast designed for serious fishing work. Built in 2023 and completed by Samoset Boatworks in 2025, this 42-foot boat measures 14 feet across the beam and is powered by a Scania 900-horsepower diesel engine with just 20 hours of running time.

The boat accommodates a working crew with one head and sleeping quarters below. The layout reflects the practical tuna fisherman heritage of the design, with the working deck and pilothouse arranged for extended offshore operation.

This is a new-build completion in unused condition, delivered ready for the water with minimal engine hours.
