The 2025 Ranger RT198P is a 19-foot aluminum runabout engineered for serious fishing. Built on an all-welded, wood-free aluminum frame with closed-cell flotation foam throughout, it combines structural rigidity with inherent stability. The hull features a pad-bottom design for sharp performance and responsive handling, paired with integrated engine setback and a 150-horsepower Mercury gasoline engine.
The boat prioritizes working space and storage. A large front casting deck accommodates multiple anglers without crowding, while the wider hull profile keeps more surface in the water during slow trolling, reducing wind and wave drift. Storage includes two rod boxes with weather-proof gaskets, an insulated gel-coated in-deck cooler, and a substantial center tackle locker with locking latches. Rear storage boxes are sized for tackle organization, and the transom features a divided, timed, and aerated livewell.
The console is handmade fiberglass with integrated dash space for electronics up to 12 inches, offering the strength and finish expected of the RT lineup. Throughout the design—from welded seams to fiberglass work to foam layup—the build reflects Ranger's manufacturing standards.
