The 2025 Ranger Z521R is a 21.75-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. The design emphasizes both performance and fishing functionality, with a refined hull geometry engineered for quick planing and strong top-end speed. Construction includes Ranger's One-Piece Feel Interloc™ system with a reimagined core and stringer architecture, while the transom is built from pultruded fiberglass for durability.

The layout prioritizes angler comfort and storage. The driver benefits from heated Cloud 9™ air-ride SRS seating, while a padded front casting deck provides workspace.
