The 2025 Shoalwater 23 catamaran is a new flats boat built on a wide, stable two-hull design with a 23-foot length and 8.8-foot beam. Powered by a Yamaha 250 SHO engine, it delivers the shallow-draft capability needed for skinny water while maintaining a solid, dry ride in variable conditions.
The open deck layout prioritizes fishing space with a 15-inch raised platform for sight-casting. The boat includes dual helm seating, a spacious console with a hybrid hardtop and full switch panel, and dual live wells equipped with Pro Air systems. A 61-gallon fuel cell feeds the engine, while hydraulic steering and Lenco trim tabs provide responsive handling. Bob's jack plate allows fine-tuning of motor height, and a premium tall grab rail adds safety throughout the deck.
Equipment includes a spare tire, rounding out the core fishing setup. The catamaran hull design prioritizes stability and shallow-water access, making it suitable for both flats work and bay cruising.
