The 2025 Sportsman Open 282 is a 28-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a 21-degree deadrise, designed for both offshore fishing and family cruising. Twin Yamaha engines deliver 600 horsepower, while the 230-gallon fuel capacity provides substantial range. Construction is fully composite with a 10-year hull warranty. The Seakeeper Ride system actively reduces pitch and roll for smoother handling in varied conditions.

The layout centers on the open deck with dual side entry doors and a walk-through windshield. The bow features an electric sun deck with table conversion, while the stern includes a cockpit table.
