The 2025 Tracker Panfish 17 is a stick-steer aluminum runabout built for shallow-water fishing. The hull is marine-grade aluminum, robotically cut and fully welded for structural integrity, measuring 16.7 feet long with a 6.4-foot beam. Power comes from a 40 hp Mercury engine tuned for fuel efficiency.

The bow features a driver's station with throttle and steering stick, a standard fishfinder, and a large storage box for tackle and gear. The cockpit layout prioritizes working space and fishing comfort, with a center livewell topped by a two-person cushion and a rear fold-down seat that conceals additional storage. All storage compartments are designed to keep gear dry and accessible.

This is a purpose-built fishing platform scaled for single or small-group operation, with practical deck organization and modest fuel consumption from the Mercury powerplant.
