The 2025 Yamaha 255XD is a 24-foot jet-powered wakesurfer built around a single 1,812cc engine producing 500 combined horsepower. It runs on DRiVE X technology with drive-by-wire control, Quiet Cruise Technology, and a three-position No Wake Mode. The boat holds 75 gallons of premium unleaded fuel and features Yamaha's wake-enhancing hull design paired with an integrated ballast system and electric WakeBooster for performance on the water.

The cockpit combines comfort and functionality with dual captain's chairs—the helm seat offering an adjustable, flip-up bolster and a passenger-side counterpart. The bow includes a walk-through door, filler inserts for flexible seating, hinged seat cushions, and a lockable glove box. A removable dinette table with pedestal mount serves the stern, while the galley features a stow-in-place table and storage.
