The 2026 Cape Horn 28XS is a center console powered by twin Mercury 300XXL Verado engines, designed with the angler firmly in mind. The modern hull spans 28 feet in length with a 9-foot beam and draws just 22 inches, while weighing 4,200 pounds dry. Fuel capacity is 175 gallons, and a trailer is included.

The layout prioritizes fishing functionality and comfort. Full bow seating with cushions and backrests pairs with a folding rear bench seat. A 42-gallon livewell and 700-quart insulated fish box dominate the working deck, while an 85-quart insulated drink cooler keeps supplies within reach. The walk-in console provides convenient access to controls and a flush-mount electronics area spanning 12 by 34 inches.

Standard equipment includes a T-top with electronics box, spreader lights, leaning post with backrest, electric trim tabs with indicators, and a raw water washdown system. Hydraulic tilt steering, dual bilge pumps (1,000 and 1,250 GPH), a stainless steel swim ladder, and 25 rod holders round out the fishing setup.
