The 2026 Carolina Skiff 178 JLS is a 17.67-foot center console built on a modified V hull with a full liner design, engineered for smooth, comfortable operation across bays, creeks, rivers, and open water. Powered by twin Suzuki 230-horsepower outboards, the boat delivers the handling and maneuverability expected from this series while maintaining durability and fishing capability.

The open layout centers on a console and helm station with tilt steering. The boat includes two pedestal chairs, a leaning post with backrest, and diamond-pleated stone gray seating throughout. An 18-gallon livewell, rod holders, and ample molded-in storage compartments serve anglers and recreational users alike. An under-seat cooler and pre-wired trolling motor setup add practical amenities. Boarding is facilitated by a three-step telescoping stern ladder, and a bimini top provides weather protection.
