2026 Chittum Skiffs 18 Laguna Madre

The 2026 Chittum 18 Laguna Madre is a flats boat built entirely from carbon fiber—hull, deck, console, and platforms—making it lightweight and responsive. Powered by a Yamaha F70LB2 outboard, it's engineered for shallow-water fishing with a tunnel hull system and features a 12-inch casting platform with polished aluminum finish and a poling platform with integrated step.

The boat is rigged for serious anglers with five forward-facing conventional rod racks on the starboard side and three aft-facing fly rod racks on the port side. Additional fishing amenities include rod holders and under-gunnel courtesy lights. The console comes standard with a carbon fiber Edson steering wheel, and the rear features a large seat cushion with matching console backrest. Snow camouflage Sea-Dek covers both the casting and poling platforms, with black Sea-Dek lining the gunnels.

Performance features include a Bobs Action Jackplate with blinker switch and water pressure gauge, Stiffy cavitation plate, Baumann prop, and stainless steel trim tabs. The hull is finished in Matterhorn white with matching deck and console. A removable carbon fiber rear tray adds versatility, and the 21-gallon fuel cell supports extended range.

The boat comes with a Ramlin single-axle aluminum trailer equipped with spare tire, walk board, transom tie-downs, and swing tongue for dry-launch capability.
