The 2026 Cobalt R4 Surf is a 24-foot fiberglass ski and wake boat built for multiple water sports. It features a Volvo Penta 350 HP forward-facing drive, which powers the boat while allowing reverse control in both directions. The forward-facing drive arrangement improves fuel efficiency compared to traditional inboard setups, particularly when surfing.

The hull design is a deep-V that delivers a smooth and stable ride across varying water conditions. The boat generates customizable waves for surfing and also performs well for wakeboarding, skiing, and tubing. The drive's directional control simplifies maneuvering in tight spaces without requiring traditional rudder input in reverse.

Inside, the R4 Surf combines premium materials with solid construction. The cabin and lounges feature upholstery and refined detailing throughout. The boat arrives in a new Deep Teal exterior finish with coordinated interior accents and matching decking. A custom Boatmate trailer with 18-inch wheels is available as optional equipment.
