The 2026 Cobalt R8 Surf is a 27-foot bowrider built for watersports and lake cruising. Powered by a single Volvo Penta V8-430 CE DP Forward Drive engine tuned for instant planing and optimized wake formation, the boat features electronic vessel control with dual Garmin 8610 glass-cockpit displays, trim tabs for attitude control, and the factory-integrated Volvo Surf Components Package. A Prisma Power Arch with folding shade and elite brushed aluminum wakeboard racks frame the swim platform, while an all-chain windlass with anchor provides ground tackle.

The open layout centers on an electric adjustable captain's seat and Surf Edition C-Chair, with soft-trac mats throughout the cockpit, bow, and swim platform for safety and comfort. A head compartment with seagrass flooring, porta potti, and LED accent lighting serves the interior, while RGB cockpit and underwater lighting sets the mood. A rear-facing camera assists with docking and monitoring riders.
