The 2026 Cutwater C-248 Coupe is a 30-foot fiberglass cruiser built on a double-stepped hull with Laminar Flow Interrupters, delivering smooth handling and efficient planing. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Yamaha outboard with electric steering and backed by a bow thruster, it's designed for easy maneuvering in tight spaces. The hull comes finished in Midnight Blue, a premium upgrade that sets off the classic Downeast profile.
The cabin layout centers on a forward stateroom, convertible dinette berth, and mid-berth for sleeping accommodations, along with an enclosed head and galley equipped with sink, stove, microwave, and refrigerator-freezer. A distinctive aft bulkhead window opens fully, transforming the dinette into a rear-facing cockpit seat that extends the usable entertaining space. The 116-gallon fuel capacity supports extended cruising.
Standard equipment includes a Garmin 9-inch GPS chartplotter with sonar, VHF radio, and Fusion Bluetooth stereo. Navigation and anchoring are supported by a windlass with bow and helm controls, paired with an 11-pound anchor, 15 feet of chain, and 150 feet of line. The swim platform with ladder, cockpit fish box, and raw water washdown serve fishing and water sports use, while onboard systems feature LED lighting, an inverter, and shorepower connectivity.
This example carries significant upgrades: air conditioning and reverse cycle heating powered by a lithium battery package; an aft cockpit sun shade; a 19-inch flat screen television with DVD; underwater lights; downrigger plates and plugs; a livewell; and a complete safety package including fenders, lines, flares, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, life jackets, and boat hook. Aquamat woven vinyl flooring covers the cockpit.
