2026 East Cape EVO 17 X

The 2026 East Cape EVO 17 X is a shallow-draft skiff built around extreme access and stability in technical waters. At 16.58 feet with a six-foot beam, it combines minimal draft with a design that resists wind-induced sailing through wide gunwales and low freeboard. The hull uses fully infused, cored construction with VE resin and 316 stainless-steel hardware throughout, paired with a heavy-duty rub rail for durability under rigorous use.

Power comes from a 60-horsepower Suzuki gasoline engine, upgradeable to 90 horsepower. The boat features electric trim tabs and hydraulic steering for precise control. A spray rail built into the hull design delivers a soft, dry ride across varied water conditions.

Standard equipment reflects its design for serious fishing. The boat carries six under-gunnel rod tubes accommodating rods up to 9.5 feet, front and rear hatches with substantial storage, an insulated cooler and livewell, and an anodized poling platform with Sea-Dek padding. An auto on/off bilge pump and military-specification switches provide reliability. The boat comes finished with a custom AWL grip in a choice of colors.

A custom aluminum trailer with stainless hardware and torsion axle is included.
