The 2026 Edge 553 DB is a 16.5-foot aluminum runabout built on a Wesco trailer. Powered by a single Mercury 40-horsepower gasoline engine, this boat combines classic duck boat design with modern construction techniques.

The hull features Edge's signature corrugated bottom with an 8-degree V and reversed chines, engineered for performance across varied water conditions. The boat is built with longitudinal bracing and 24-inch sidewalls for structural rigidity and safety. The narrow beam and shallow draft design enable operation in shallow water while maintaining stability and handling characteristics.
