2026 Excess EXCESS 11

The Excess 11 is a 37-foot catamaran built from fiberglass, designed for extended cruising across all conditions. Its design by VPLP and Patrick le Quément balances performance with comfort, featuring a lightweight hull paired with a generous sail plan that delivers strong performance even in light winds. The boat is powered by a single Yammer diesel engine of 29 horsepower and can be optioned with hybrid propulsion.

The accommodations reflect a focus on livability, with an owner's cabin featuring a 2-by-2-meter bed and bathrooms equipped with separate showers. The interior is finished in cedar and white touch trim and lit throughout by large windows that fill the saloon with natural light. On deck, twin helm stations offer direct steering control and unrestricted views of the sails and horizon, while the open cockpit provides generous space for the crew.
