2026 Hewes Redfisher 16
About This Yacht
The 2026 Hewes Redfisher 16 is a shallow-water flats boat built on the company's vacuum-infused hull design. At 16 feet with a 7-foot beam, it draws just 11 inches of water and handles larger conditions than its size suggests, powered by a Yamaha 115 outboard with mechanical controls. The boat is finished in Atlantic Blue hull and deck with black caulking and 2-tone grey cushions. Sea Star hydraulic steering, trim tabs, and a stainless steel GEM wheel provide confident boat handling across varying water conditions.
The poling platform spans the full width of the bow and includes a tower, backrest, and step integrated with a 37.5-inch jackplate for sight-fishing. A 24V Power Pole Move trolling motor and an 8-foot Power Pole on the starboard side offer multiple boat control options. The Garmin 8612XSV electronics package handles navigation, while a 20-gallon aft center livewell with recirculation pump supports live bait. The self-bailing cockpit, rod storage tubes and undergunnel racks, console rod rack with three banks, and standard console grab rail round out the fishing layout.
Onboard systems include a 3-bank charger, 4-position battery switch, 12-volt accessory jack, LED navigation lights, blue LED cockpit lights, and a fused waterproof switch panel. Dry storage compartments are large, lock-down, and gasketed throughout. The boat also carries a compass and livewell light for night fishing capability.
