The Hobie Mirage Passport 12.0 is a sit-on-top kayak designed for fishing and light touring. Propulsion comes from the Mirage Drive system with Glide Technology and Kick Up fins, which retract to protect the drive when approaching shallow water, logs, or other submerged obstacles.

The deck layout emphasizes practical fishing capability. EVA padding on the floor provides comfort during long sessions, while fishing rod holders, a rod caddie, and accessible tackle storage keep gear organized. A transducer cavity and fishfinder mounting plate accommodate electronics, and the boat includes a Power-Pole Micro bracket.
