The Eagle 38 is a 38-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed by Hoek Design, combining traditional aesthetics with modern technology. Powered by a single 20 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine, she offers responsive handling and reliable auxiliary propulsion. The boat features a one-cabin, one-head layout suited for cruising couples or small groups, with a spacious cockpit designed for comfortable sailing whether single-handed or with companions.
This Eagle 38 comes comprehensively equipped. Electric winches include powered jib and mainsail systems, with an electric halyard winch mounted on the coach roof working in tandem with a below-deck jib furler. The captive mainsheet winch is motor-driven for effortless sail trimming. Navigation and entertainment systems feature a Raymarine Alpha 9" mast display with smart wind transducer, a Raymarine Axiom 9" multifunctional chartplotter, and a Raymarine EV200 Sail Autopilot with P70 control and rudder position feedback. Audio comes from a Fusion MS-RA60 DAB+/Bluetooth radio paired with two waterproof outdoor speakers.
Additional features include an electric toilet, shower in the cockpit, and refrigerator. The boat is fitted with a Lewmar V1 electric anchorwinch, 10 kg delta anchor, and folding arm for below-deck stowage. The jib winches are positioned for easy helmsman access, and the overall design emphasizes intuitive operation with electric controls throughout.
This boat has never been launched and remains in the builder's shipyard, allowing for further customization options before delivery.
