2026 Nitro Z17

The Nitro Z17 is a 17-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull with a 115 hp Mercury Marine FourStroke outboard. The design combines a responsive NVT hull for quick planing and controlled handling with a seven-and-a-half-foot beam that provides stability and room for multiple anglers. The boat accelerates readily and holds its line at speed.

Storage dominates the layout. Rod lockers along the gunwales accept rods up to seven feet six inches, while dedicated tackle compartments in the rear keep boxes dry and accessible. Beneath the decks lies additional storage space throughout. The helm station includes a Lowrance fishfinder, full gauge set, and switch controls.

The boat rides on a custom-fitted trailer engineered for the Z17 hull. Its compact footprint and manageable weight make it straightforward to tow and store ashore.
