2026 Nitro Z17

The 2026 Nitro Z17 is a 17-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull powered by a single Mercury 115 Pro XS FourStroke outboard with Command Thrust. The boat is designed for accessible trailering and straightforward ownership, combining the NVT hull design for smooth, dry performance with the Rapid Planing System for quick acceleration and on-rails handling at speed. The wide 7.5-foot beam provides stability across conditions and accommodates multiple anglers.

The layout prioritizes storage and fishing capability. A 32-square-foot bow deck offers casting room, flanked by oversized lockable rod lockers on the port and starboard sides. The bow center houses an additional lockable storage locker with lift assist, capable of holding rods up to 7 feet 6 inches. The rear deck includes dedicated tackle storage and a 23-gallon rotomolded livewell with divider, timer, and rounded corners. A Minn Kota Edge trolling motor with 55-pound thrust and 45-inch shaft comes mounted.

The helm is equipped with a Lowrance Eagle 4 fishfinder mounted flush, paired with full Veethree instrumentation including speedometer, fuel gauge, tachometer, trim gauge, voltmeter, and water pressure gauge. A 2-bank, 10-amp battery charger with exterior receptacle is included. The boat rides on a custom-fitted single-axle trailer with powder-coated finish and Galvashield corrosion protection, designed specifically for this hull. All construction meets NMMA certification standards.
