The 2026 Parker 227 Explorer is a 22-foot sport fisherman built with fiberglass construction and reinforced Coosa transom and gunwales. It runs on a single 300 hp Yamaha gasoline engine. The hull features flotation foam throughout, a self-bailing cockpit design, and a heavy-duty rub rail with stainless steel insert. Standard equipment includes a swim platform with ladder, stainless steel bow rail, and dedicated stainless cleats positioned at bow, midship, and stern.
The pilothouse provides 57 feet of length and 84 inches of width, outfitted with dual windshields (port side hinged), sliding side windows with screens, and ladder-back seating with footrests. Interior storage and grab rails line the space, with non-skid flooring and LED cabin lighting throughout. Below deck is a twin berth with 40 inches of headroom, storage, cushions, and an overhead ventilation hatch with screen, plus a porta-potty for basic facilities.
The cockpit layout offers a forward-facing seat with inboard companion seating on the port side and a single captain's chair to starboard. The full transom incorporates a fish box, 35-gallon livewell, and transom door. Rod storage includes four gunwale-mounted stainless holders, a six-rod aluminum rocket launcher, and five transom-mounted rod holders angled at 15 degrees. A Seakeeper 450 ride system manages motion underway.
Standard amenities include hydraulic steering with stainless wheel, LED spreader and cockpit lighting, blue LED underwater lights, windshield wipers, raw water and fresh water washdowns with 14.5-gallon capacity, and coaming bolsters at port and starboard. The boat carries a limited lifetime hull warranty transferrable to the second owner.
