The Privilege Signature 510 is a 51-foot catamaran built in fiberglass with a 26-foot beam. It is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 160 horsepower combined and features shaft drive propulsion. The design prioritizes comfort and capability for extended offshore cruising, with an enclosed helm station and hard dodger that allow operation in all weather conditions. The large cockpit is sheltered by a hardtop extending to the aft platform, and a full enclosure can be lowered to create a weatherproof living space connected to the salon.
The sail plan emphasizes short-handed operation. Single-line reefing, the main halyard, main sheet, genoa sheets, and downhaul are all led to two electric winches positioned at the helm. An electric furling system controls the genoa. The aft deck includes an electrical pendular davit system designed for one-person operation of tenders, with the dinghy resting securely on deck rather than hanging over the water during passages.
Interior layout centers on the master suite, featuring a large island bed, abundant natural light, and excellent ventilation. Seven overhead hatches in the master and five in the salon provide passive airflow at anchor. The galley is well-appointed with ample cabinetry and counter space, a full-size refrigerator and freezer, and a floor-to-ceiling pantry. Additional storage includes a dedicated wardrobe, spaces for wet and bulky items, and a designated life raft locker in the cockpit. The yacht is equipped with a central chiller system for air conditioning and features full engine rooms with accessible systems throughout.
The design includes dual anchor lockers sized to accommodate two windlasses, a practical addition for long-distance sailing. The boat can be customized to individual preferences, particularly in the master suite.
