2026 Ranger RT178

The 2026 Ranger RT178 is a 17-foot, 8-inch aluminum runabout built to deliver stability and functionality in a compact package. Twin 75-horsepower Mercury outboards power the boat, while the .100-inch hull is filled with sound-deadening foam flotation designed to provide a smooth, solid ride across varying water conditions. The wood-free construction supports durability and low maintenance.

The layout prioritizes angler comfort and storage. An 8-foot port rod locker, recessed trolling motor foot pedal, and three dedicated tackle-storage compartments keep gear organized, while an oversized center console storage box provides additional space. The ultra-wide deck and cockpit offer stability and room for multiple anglers, with marine-grade all-weather carpet and premium vinyl upholstery throughout. The fully featured console accommodates electronics up to 12 inches, gauges, and features a cantilevered design to maximize sightlines and legroom.

This new boat is outfitted with the Cup 2 Package, which includes two Lowrance HDS 9 displays with Active Target 2 sonar technology, a Lowrance Ghost 24-volt trolling motor, and a custom Ranger cover.
