The 2026 Ranger RT178C is a 17-foot 8-inch aluminum runabout built around fishing capability and storage. Powered by a 75-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, this boat combines practical layout with thoughtful equipment placement for anglers and recreational users alike.

The bow features three-across seating that accommodates multiple anglers, with an 8-foot 6-inch rod locker built directly into the deck to protect longer rods. The wider bow design creates working space without interference from fishing gear. An in-deck tackle storage box sits forward of a divided, timed, and aerated livewell. The rear deck holds two additional tackle storage compartments and a second aerated livewell, leaving open fishing room. The center console is cantilevered fiberglass with notable legroom underneath, and bench seating incorporates additional storage. Marine-grade upholstery is fitted throughout.
