2026 Ranger RT188

The 2026 Ranger RT188 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built around a straightforward fishing platform. The all-welded hull incorporates full flotation foam from bow to stern, providing structural strength and sound dampening for quiet operation in shallow water. A 115-horsepower Mercury Marine engine powers the boat.

The boat emphasizes open deck space and functionality. The front deck is larger than typical for the class, offering stable footing and uncluttered rod storage. A recessed trolling motor foot pedal sits integrated into the layout, while an 8-foot, 6-inch center rod and tackle locker is flanked by two large storage compartments. The fiberglass console accommodates electronics up to 12 inches and features precision steering with rocker switches.

Standard equipment includes an aerated and divided livewell. The boat can be ordered with optional packages that add dual 9-inch fishfinders and an upgraded trolling motor. A custom-matched Ranger Trail trailer is available as part of the package.
