The 2026 Ranger RT188 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built for both fishing and general recreational use. Powered by twin 90-horsepower Mercury engines and fitted with an aluminum propeller, this boat combines practical design with capable performance in a manageable package. The all-welded aluminum hull is filled with flotation foam throughout, reducing wave shock and hull noise while providing structural rigidity and buoyancy.

The layout prioritizes fishing functionality and usable space. The front deck is notably wide, offering stability and room to move without cramping the bow area. A center rod and tackle locker measuring 8 feet 6 inches runs down the middle, flanked by substantial storage compartments on either side. The recessed trolling motor foot pedal keeps the deck clear and organized, while a fiberglass console accommodates electronics up to 12 inches and includes precision steering and rocker switches for helm control.

The boat features anti-feedback single-cable steering for responsive handling. Included equipment consists of a Ranger-branded cover and a custom-matched Ranger trailer for towing.
