The 2026 Ranger RT188P is an 18-foot aluminum runabout powered by a single 115-hp Mercury Marine engine. Its defining feature is the pad-hull bottom, which combines aluminum durability with enhanced stability and performance across the RPM range. The hull sits on a custom-built trailer matched to the boat's specifications.

The boat's layout emphasizes fishing functionality. It has a handmade fiberglass console with a flush-mounted bow panel for electronics, premium marine-grade seating, and storage boxes throughout the boat lined with gaskets and insulation to manage moisture. The design keeps the platform clear from bow to stern—no stepping over rod storage—and features a wide, solid footing. The offset transom is set up to accept dual Power-Poles with a jackplate.

The pad-bottom hull incorporates a new, stronger keel for durability. Optional Ranger Cup Equipped packages are available that add a pair of 9-inch fishfinders and an upgraded trolling motor for additional capability.
