The 2026 Ranger RT188P is an aluminum runabout built around a pad-hull bottom that combines the durability of aluminum construction with performance characteristics typically associated with fiberglass designs. The pad bottom delivers improved stability at speed and enhanced performance across the RPM range compared to the standard RT188 layout.

The boat features a handmade fiberglass console accommodating large-screen electronics, with a fiberglass bow panel designed for flush-mounted equipment. Marine-grade seating matches throughout, and a wide, solid platform runs bow to stern without stepping points across rod storage. The offset transom is configured to accept dual Power-Poles with a jackplate.

Storage is extensive, with substantial compartments throughout the boat. Each storage box includes a gasket and insulation beneath the lid to resist moisture infiltration. The boat comes on a custom-built trailer engineered specifically for this hull. Power comes from a single Mercury Marine 115 hp gasoline engine.
