The 2026 Ranger RT198P is a 19.8-foot aluminum fishing runabout built around a spacious front casting deck designed for multiple anglers. Powered by a Mercury 150 L Pro XS FourStroke engine, the boat features a pad-bottom hull engineered for performance and handling, with integrated engine setback for enhanced efficiency. The wider hull design maintains stability when operating the Minn Kota Maxxum 70-pound trolling motor, reducing wind and wave effects during precision fishing.

The layout prioritizes angler comfort and storage. Three pedestal seat bases span the front deck, while oversized rear storage boxes accommodate tackle trays and gear. A divided, timed, and aerated livewell occupies the center of the rear deck. Additional storage includes two rod boxes with locking latches, an in-deck insulated cooler, and a large center tackle box with weather-proof gaskets and insulation.

The boat is built with all-welded, wood-free aluminum construction and closed-cell foam flotation throughout the hull for strength and rigidity. The fiberglass console accommodates electronics up to 12 inches. Baystar hydraulic tilt steering and a 6-inch manual setback plate allow for Power-Pole installation. The package includes a custom boat cover and a single-axle custom trailer equipped with trailer brakes and brake upgrade. A Minn Kota trolling motor is also included.
