2026 Ranger RT198P

The 2026 Ranger RT198P is a 19-foot aluminum runabout built around a serious fishing platform. Powered by a single 150-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, it combines a pad-bottom hull design with an integrated engine setback to deliver responsive handling and solid performance on the water. The wider beam keeps the boat stable in chop, particularly useful when operating a trolling motor in windy conditions.

The boat prioritizes angler comfort and storage. A front casting deck provides ample room for multiple fishermen, while the layout includes two rod boxes, an insulated in-deck cooler, and an oversized center tackle storage—all fitted with locking latches and weather-proof gaskets. Rear storage boxes accommodate tackle trays, and a divided, timed and aerated livewell sits at the center of the rear deck.

Construction emphasizes durability throughout. The all-welded, wood-free aluminum hull is reinforced with closed-cell flotation foam that adds structural rigidity and reduces interior noise. Fiberglass consoles are handmade and strong enough to support class-leading 12-inch electronics. Interior trim has been updated with refined finishing touches that extend the boat's solid one-piece feel.
