The Ranger Z518 is an 18-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull with a 200-horsepower Mercury Marine V8 FourStroke engine. The 8-foot beam provides a stable, wide platform suited to shallow-water fishing. The hull incorporates a foam-filled core and pultruded fiberglass reinforcement for rigidity and durability.
Storage is extensive throughout the boat. Forward of the console sit two 8-foot rod boxes, a gel-coated insulated in-deck cooler, and a spacious starboard gear box. The console is fitted with precision gauges, accommodation for electronics up to 12 inches, and matte black accents. Navigation lights are integrated LED units.
The deck is set up for serious fishing. The casting area is oversized, with a recessed trolling motor pedal and SRS Soft-Ride seating standard. Hardware uses push-to-close latches rather than twist mechanisms. A Ranger Trail trailer is included with the boat.
