2026 Sea Fox 228 Commander

The 2026 Sea Fox 228 Commander is a 22-foot center console built on a composite fiberglass hull with a Yamaha 250 hp outboard engine. The boat features a T-top with canvas awning, four rod holders, and LED anchor light, along with a full suite of standard and optional equipment designed for both fishing and cruising.

The helm includes Garmin 1243 XSV touchscreen electronics with through-hull transducer, Fusion Apollo Marine stereo with six deck speakers, and a stainless steel wheel with turning knob. The leaning post helm seat has backrest and hinged bolsters, while an aft bench seat with removeable cushions provides additional seating. The cockpit includes ten cup holders, four stainless steel rod holders, and under-gunwale recessed rod storage. A 30-gallon aquarium-style pressurized livewell with window and 800 GPH aerator serves live bait needs.

Storage and utility are distributed throughout the boat: a bow anchor compartment with rope locker, under-seat insulated storage with fishbox, in-floor storage with bucket, and a transom storage compartment plumbed and insulated to function as a cooler. The transom gate provides walkthrough access, and a stainless steel telescopic ladder with integrated handle aids boarding. Twin 1100 GPH bilge pumps with electronic float switches manage water removal.

Optional equipment includes an aluminum tandem-axle trailer with aluminum wheels and matching spare, ultimate hardtop with D-tubing and full enclosure, Lenco trim tab switch with LED indicators, LED and technology package, freshwater washdown system, and removable tow bar. The hull features a sand-grip deck surface and stainless steel rub rail, fasteners, and pull-up cleats.
