The 2026 Sea Ray SDX 250 Surf is a 25-foot wakesurfing boat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a 350 hp MerCruiser engine paired with a forward-facing Bravo Four S drive and contra-rotating props. The boat is fitted with Sea Ray's NextWave™ surf system, engineered to generate rideable, repeatable waves for wakesurfing and watersports. SmartCraft Technology and Digital Throttle & Shift enhance maneuverability and control at low speeds and when docking.

The layout prioritizes family comfort and utility. A spacious bow and wide sunpad provide relaxation areas, while the helm and port companion seats have convertible backrests that transform into aft-facing loungers. An electric folding watersports tower with integrated Bimini top and surf tow points is standard. The transom features a three-position seat that transitions from a hard-back surface to aft-facing configuration, and a swim platform with an optional submersible step provides water access and lounging space.
