The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 Outboard is a 28-foot sports cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with twin Mercury 250 Verado outboard engines delivering 500 total horsepower. The boat features Joystick Piloting for maneuvering, SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift for precise control, and an optional Dynamic Running Surface for smooth, efficient operation.

The layout centers on a spacious cockpit with plush seating and integrated storage throughout. A U-shaped bow area provides dedicated social space, while the optional next-generation Power Tower adds a canvas top with extendable sunshade and swiveling wakeboard racks for watersports access. Technology aboard includes dual Simrad touchscreen displays with Mercury Marine engine integration, a Fusion marine stereo system, and VesselView Mobile app connectivity to monitor boat systems. LED lighting with RGB-W color-changing capability comes as part of the lighting package.
