The 2026 Shoalwater 23 Cat is a new fiberglass catamaran built for shallow-water fishing and coastal cruising. Its wide, stable twin-hull design delivers a smooth, dry ride and responsive handling in variable conditions. The boat draws minimal water, allowing access to skinny flats and protected bays where traditional hulls cannot venture.
The open deck layout prioritizes fishing space with room to move and work. The boat carries a 61-gallon fuel cell and comes equipped with dual live wells fitted with Pro Air systems. Twin helm seating with slides provides comfortable stations for captain and crew, while premium tall grab rails and a 15-inch raised platform offer safety and visibility underway.
Power comes from a Yamaha VF250LB (SHO) outboard engine. The boat features hydraulic steering, Lenco trim tabs for running attitude control, and a Bob's jack plate for engine height adjustment. A Blackout Trailer Package with 18-inch wheels and a spare tire is included. Additional equipment encompasses a hybrid hardtop, switch panel, and dual helm seating with manual slides.
