The 2026 Sportsman Open 232 is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull, powered by a single Yamaha F300XSB V6 4-stroke outboard producing 300 hp. The engine reaches 48.4 mph at 5800 rpm, planes in 3.55 seconds, and achieves 3.28 mpg at cruising speed. The boat pairs classic fishing capabilities with family-friendly accommodations in a trailerable package.

Fishing features include a 25-gallon insulated aquarium livewell, ample rod storage with Gemlux rod holders, and under-leaning-post tackle storage. The boat carries a 106-gallon fuel tank and includes a 15-gallon freshwater system with washdown. A porcelain head with pump-out discharge is standard, along with a 20-quart built-in console cooler seat and slide-out track for a YETI cooler to accommodate family outings.

Onboard technology comprises a Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv 12-inch multifunction display with Bluechart G3, Garmin Apollo RA670 premium stereo with SportTune, Garmin GT12M 350-watt CHIRP transducer, and Garmin VHF 115 radio.
