2026 Sportsman Open 252 Center Console

The 2026 Sportsman Open 252 is a 25-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Yamaha F150XSA2 four-stroke outboards producing 300 combined horsepower. The boat features a Harbor Haze hull with snow white bottom and white powder-coated hardware. It planes in 3.5 seconds and reaches 49.5 mph at wide-open throttle.

The layout combines fishing and family use in a single open design. Forward is a removable bow sundeck with table and cushion set, backed by a console with an integrated tempered glass windshield and vent. The helm features an Edson 13-inch stainless steering wheel with power knob and a Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv 12-inch multifunction display flush-mounted in the console. The cabin area includes a porcelain head with pump-out and overboard discharge, a 15-gallon freshwater tank with washdown, and a 68-quart cooler seat.

Fishing amenities include dual in-deck macerated fish boxes, a 30-gallon aquarium livewell, king fish rod holders, and a trolling motor plug with harness and adapter. Navigation and communication systems consist of a Garmin VHF 115 radio, Garmin GT12M CHIRP transducer, and Garmin Fusion audio with JL Audio Ultra Premium DSP amplification. The boat also features a windlass with anchor and 300 feet of rope, Seakeeper Ride VACS stabilization, a dual battery configuration with digital switching, and a ProMariner three-bank battery charger.
