The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 DLX is an 18.4-foot aluminum pontoon powered by a Mercury 50 FourStroke engine. Built on the legacy of the original Bass Buggy—the first fishing pontoon ever made—this model combines traditional fishing heritage with modern construction and amenities. The boat accommodates up to seven passengers and is rated for NMMA certification.

The layout centers on fishing functionality paired with passenger comfort. A forward-console livewell with 9 gallons of aerated capacity and shutoff valve supports anglers, while removable and folding fishing chairs with heavy-duty pedestals provide flexible seating. The wraparound windscreen console features a sport steering wheel with 4:2 ratio steering, vertical rod holder, integrated storage, and drink holders. Aft L-lounge couches offer additional seating with underseat storage. A 7-foot Bimini top with manual deployment and trailering-position arms provides weather protection.

The pontoon deck is built with pressure-treated 3/4-inch material backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
