2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select

The 2026 Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull, powered by a 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. At 18.42 feet long with an 8-foot beam, it combines the practicality of a pontoon with features designed specifically for anglers.

The layout centers on fishing functionality. Two folding fishing seats provide casting stations positioned under a standard 7-foot bimini top. The driver console includes a dedicated rod holder and phone compartments for easy access to tackle and electronics. A forward-facing seat sits in front of the driver console, while lounge seating rounds out the accommodations for the full seven-passenger capacity.

Storage has been expanded with three cubic feet of additional room integrated into the backrest cut-outs. The console and lounge designs are new for 2026, alongside other refinements: four additional cupholders and the improved stowage compartments bring modern convenience to the deck layout. This model carries forward the original Bass Buggy concept—established as the first fishing pontoon—with an updated style and enhanced feature set.
