The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot aluminum fishing pontoon powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. Designed to accommodate seven passengers, it combines practical fishing capability with everyday usability on the water.

The layout centers on a redesigned driver console featuring integrated rod holders and multiple storage solutions. Two folding fishing seats offer casting positions under the standard 7-foot bimini top. Storage capacity has been increased through backrest cut-outs that add three cubic feet of space, while the cabin area now includes phone compartments and four cupholders throughout the boat. An additional seat forward of the driver console rounds out the seating arrangement.

The pontoon features a refreshed design that updates the original Bass Buggy concept with contemporary styling and added fishing-oriented details. The 8-foot beam provides stability and working room across the deck.
