The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18.4-foot aluminum pontoon powered by a 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. Built on the foundation of the original fishing pontoon design, this model combines classic functionality with updated styling and expanded features. The boat carries up to seven passengers and is fitted with a standard 7-foot bimini top for shade while fishing.

The redesigned layout emphasizes comfort and fishing convenience. Two folding fishing seats provide casting positions beneath the bimini, while a dedicated driver console features its own rod holder. A seat in front of the driver console complements the lounge areas, and the backrest design incorporates storage cut-outs that add three cubic feet of additional stowage. The boat includes four cupholders and phone compartments integrated throughout the layout.
