The 2026 Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull and powered by a 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. It carries forward the legacy of the original fishing pontoon with a complete redesign that adds modern conveniences and fishing-focused features throughout.

The layout centers on a fully equipped driver console with an integrated rod holder, paired with two folding fishing seats positioned for casting. A standard 7-foot bimini top provides shade over the fishing area. The redesigned seating includes a new seat forward of the driver console, and storage has been increased by three cubic feet through clever backrest cutouts. Additional touches include phone compartments integrated into the deck and four cupholders distributed across the boat.

At 18 feet 5 inches long with an 8-foot beam, this pontoon is sized for fishing waters and day trips, offering the space and features expected in a dedicated fishing platform.
