The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an aluminum fishing pontoon built on the platform that pioneered the fishing pontoon category. At 18.42 feet long and 8 feet wide, it accommodates seven passengers and is powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine.

The boat features a redesigned console and lounge seating arrangement. Two folding fishing seats position anglers in the shade beneath a standard 7-foot bimini top. The driver console includes a dedicated rod holder and comes forward with an additional seat. Phone compartments are integrated into the layout, and the boat provides 36 cubic feet of storage thanks to cutouts built into the backrest designs. Four cupholders are distributed throughout the seating areas.

The 2026 refresh introduces new styling and a revised interior configuration that adds functional fishing amenities while maintaining the essential pontoon platform and seven-passenger capacity.
