The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull and powered by a single 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. This model carries forward the legacy of the original fishing pontoon with a redesigned console and updated styling throughout.

The layout features two folding fishing seats positioned for casting, both sheltered by a standard 7-foot bimini top. The driver console includes a rod holder and is accompanied by a forward-facing seat. Storage has been increased with three additional cubic feet of capacity integrated into the backrest design, while phone compartments and four extra cupholders are distributed around the cockpit. The pontoon accommodates up to seven passengers.
