The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull with a single 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. This redesigned model carries the lineage of the original Bass Buggy, the first fishing pontoon ever produced, and brings updated styling and expanded features to the category.

The boat seats seven passengers and distributes them across thoughtfully arranged zones. Two folding fishing seats sit under the standard 7-foot bimini top, while a driver console includes its own rod holder and is complemented by a forward-facing seat. The lounge area features redesigned backrests with integrated storage cutouts that add three cubic feet of capacity. Additional updates include phone compartments built into the console and four new cupholders throughout the layout.
