The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull, measuring 18.42 feet long and 8 feet wide. Powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, it carries the legacy of the original Bass Buggy—the first fishing pontoon ever made—with a complete redesign that adds contemporary style and fishing-focused functionality.

The layout centers on two folding fishing seats positioned under a standard 7-foot bimini top, offering shaded casting areas. The driver console features integrated rod holders and is complemented by a new front passenger seat. Storage capacity has been expanded with three additional cubic feet gained through redesigned backrest cutouts. The interior includes phone compartments and four additional cupholders integrated throughout the boat.
